| This machine built up a 4 ply laminate sheet. the laminate sheets were roll-fed and aligned automatically. Heat and pressure were then used to adhere the plys together. the final product was then cut to a user definable length and stacked in the discharge area. Proportional air valves were used to control the tracking of the strip through the machine. Large die sets 60 inches square were used to compress the plys together. This machine used a 486 based industrial computer for control. |
